Forest History Association of Alberta Established

The Forest History Association of Alberta was formally established at its Founding meeting on February 16, 2005.

Alberta Fianance visits the bush with AFPA members and staff Finance Officials Go To The Bush

Alberta Finance representatives participated in a log haul tour at the Hinton Pulp FMA on February 21 and 22, co-presented by the AFPA, West Fraser and Weyerhaeuser. The tour showcased the intricacies of the forestry product industry and the importance of the Tax Exempt Fuel User (TEFU) to its many participants.

On February 22, 2005, Parker Hogan, Director of Public Affairs with the AFPA sat down with Julien Lambert, the CEO of TheWebVideo Ltd., to talk about the Alberta forest products industry for his web-based, television-on-demand service, called the PolicyChannel.com.

Inside Education Updates - New Calgary office and new field trip "Busses to the Boreal"

If you can't bring the forest to the school then take the students to the forest - that's the thrust of a new Inside Education field trip program. Additionally, the Calgary office has moved nearer the downtown core.
