Occasionally when I do the family grocery shopping, I bring home a treat or two for everyone to enjoy. On one recent trip to the grocery, I spied some pies on a special display with a guy who looked to be in his 60s, short in stature and long on personality. He was offering bite-size samples of that pie. His name was Edgar and he sold me on much more than the pies.
