 What I've got for ya...

Has old-fashioned good service lost out to the Almighty Buck?

We had a different Christmas this year, for the first time in our lives our kids (now young adults) could not make it home for one reason or another and it just didn't seem right sitting there alone. So, Deb and I decided to travel out to BC to see them and in fact spend Christmas in Whistler. At the time of writing, I am on the plane home from what might have been one of the worst "service experience" weeks I can recall in recent memory.

Canadian Pride!!

On a recent sales product training session at Bullard in Cythiana, Kentucky the Americans decided to challenge us to a match on the ice --- little did we know that it was Broomball and not Hockey - they thought they had outsmarted us on this one but my fellow Canadians --- we did you proud! No score was kept but let's say the "Mercy Rule" was in effect. A picture of the winning team (yep, that's the Pacesetter group!) is included!! I hadn't noticed the figure skating dresses in the back of the photo until now --- I guess that's what the losers are wearing now!

This month, we'll be looking at both of these critical areas in depth. Today, let's start by examining the DO's and DON'Ts of presenting to true senior-level decision makers.
